Dress Code

At Filton Golf Course, we want all our visitors to enjoy a relaxed and friendly club, both on and off the Course. However, after much discussion amongst members, we also feel that a certain standard of dress must be expected of everyone who uses the Course: members, visitors and staff. Therefore, the following dress code has been agreed for the benefit of all.

On the Course

No jeans, tracksuits, trainers or collarless shirts please.

If you wear a hat please wear it the right way round.

Shirts must be tucked in,  even in the height of Summer ( if we ever get one these days).

Tailored shorts may be worn on the course, but no football shorts, cargo shorts.

In the Clubhouse

"Smart/casual" dress code describes Filton Golf Club's philosophy.

On weekdays, Smart/Casual dress ( Trousers, collared shirt) is expected.

On weekends only, SMART jeans may be worn .

Smart Trainers and casual footwear is acceptable but Golf shoes are forbidden in the clubhouse.

Members and Visitors who dine should adhere to the "Smart/Casual" philosophy, please.

Mobile Phones

Golfers and visitors are reminded that the use of mobile phones within the Bar, Lounge and Dining Room is forbidden. Please set your phone to silent whilst on the course.
